I did not use a headphone amp with them, and did not see any need to do so. Keep in mind that the drivers are quite a bit smaller than a typical headphone, so may require less power as a result.

The specifications show a frequency response of 20 Hz - 18 kHz, input sensitivity of 107 dB SPL @ 1kHz and input impedance of 30 ohm @ 1 kHz.</description>
